6. Retaining and Deleting Personal Data

Payment card information may be collected directly by Our payment service providers. MalluEats may use third-party payment services such as Stripe, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Their handling of Your payment credentials is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.

If You enable notifications, MalluEats may send push notifications relating to order confirmation and status, pickup or delivery information, restaurant specials and events, rewards, promotions, and other MalluEats features.

Where MalluEats requests device location permission, You can control that permission through Your iOS or Android device settings. Disabling location permissions may limit certain location-based features, but You may still be able to search by manually entering or selecting a location.

You may have choices regarding account information, location permissions, push notifications, marketing emails, saved favorites, cookies, personalized features, and other application permissions. Device permissions can generally be changed through Your iOS or Android settings.
You may unsubscribe from promotional email communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in those communications. Certain transactional communications, such as order confirmations, security notices, account notices, or important service communications, may still be sent while Your account remains active.

24. Account Deletion
MalluEats users may request deletion of their MalluEats account and associated Personal Data.
Where account deletion functionality is available within the MalluEats mobile application, You may initiate deletion through the applicable account or profile settings. You may also submit an account-deletion request through the MalluEats account-deletion page or by contacting info@mallueats.com.
When We receive and verify an account-deletion request, We will delete or anonymize Personal Data associated with Your account except information We are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain for legitimate purposes such as transaction and tax records, fraud prevention, security, chargebacks, dispute resolution, and legal or regulatory compliance.
Deletion may be permanent. After deletion, You may lose access to order history, saved restaurants, rewards, preferences, and other account information.
If You created Your account using Sign in with Apple, MalluEats may revoke applicable Sign in with Apple credentials or tokens as part of the account-deletion process.
25. Children
MalluEats is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13 without legally required parental consent.
If We learn that Personal Data has been collected from a child under the applicable minimum age without appropriate authorization, We will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided Personal Data to MalluEats may contact Us at info@mallueats.com.

28. Restaurants and Third-Party Services
MalluEats connects users with independently operated restaurants. When You place an order through MalluEats, information necessary to fulfill the order may be transmitted to the restaurant.
Certain restaurants may use third-party point-of-sale, ordering, payment, or delivery systems. Information necessary to fulfill an order may be transmitted to these systems where the restaurant uses an integration supported by MalluEats. Third parties' independent processing of Personal Data may be governed by their own privacy policies.
29. Advertising and Analytics
MalluEats may use analytics technologies to understand how users interact with the Services, diagnose technical issues, measure application performance, and improve functionality.
If MalluEats uses information for advertising or tracking in a manner requiring permission under applicable law or platform requirements, We will request any required permission or provide applicable controls. You may also have privacy controls available through Your Apple or Android device.
MalluEats does not sell Your Personal Data.

3. Social Login and Third-Party Authentication
MalluEats may allow You to create an account or sign in using third-party authentication services, including Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In.
When You use a third-party authentication service, We may receive information permitted by that provider and authorized by You, such as Your name, email address, a unique authentication identifier, and other information You authorize the provider to share.
If You use Apple's Hide My Email feature, We may receive an Apple-generated relay email address instead of Your personal email address. MalluEats does not receive Your Apple ID password, Google password, or other third-party account password.
